Limp Bizkit Reportedly Joins Cash Money

Veteran rap/rock act Limp Bizkit has been confirmed as the latest signees to Cash Money Records. Lil Wayne revealed that Fred Durst & Co. had joined the label in an interview with Kissing After Dark and that a certain R&B singer may also be joining the fold.

“Every other day I hear about somebody new signed to Cash Money,” Wayne explained. “For example, the other day I just found out that Limp Bizkit signed to Cash Money. So they’re signing everybody. Every body’s getting a chance.”

As far as that R&B singer? Wayne says nothing is set in stone, but she could be confirmed soon.

“I don’t want to step across any boundaries but I think we’re working with Ashanti right now,” he says.

Nicki Minaj Isn't 'Selling Out?'

Nicki Minaj has addressed the cries of ‘sellout’ from some hip hop fans. In an interview with Hot 97, Nicki says that she’s not some puppet pandering to anyone else’s tastes but her own, and that she has a firm grip on where she wants to go career-wise.

“I would hope that people know at this point that I’m smart enough to know what I’m doing all the time. But I guess they still kind of waiver. I always intended on putting out something urban after ‘Starships,’ because I knew ‘Starships’ was a monster,” she explained. “Maybe it would be a problem if I couldn’t deliver records like ‘Roman Reloaded,’ but I can. I write my own lyrics. Once again, I write my own lyrics. So it’s never a problem. Whatever I feel, I can write, I can create it. So I’m good. I think people sometimes get blown away by the magnitude of the pop stuff, because the pop stuff, it reaches everywhere and then I feel like my hip-hop fans or hip-hop culture starts getting a little bit afraid that I’m going to leave. But this is who I am. I’m not going to change – I’m just adding on to my brand. And if you don’t understand that, then it’s probably why you don’t travel and you don’t see the world and I probably can’t even have a conversation with you anymore.”

Similar incidents have occurred throughout Georgetown and other parts of the city and D.C. Police has officers patrolling retail districts on foot and on segways to be able to respond faster.

Frosty Gets Arrested! #Bwahaha!

CHESTERTOWN, Md.- A man in a “Frosty the Snowman” costume was whisked away in handcuffs Saturday.  It sounds outrageous, but that is exactly what happened this weekend at the annual holiday parade in Chestertown.

Police say the man who was dressed as Frosty got a little out of hand. The man behind the mask is 52-year-old Kevin Walsh.

Video of Walsh’s arrest in Kent County, Md. is on Youtube and it is starting to make headlines just about everywhere.

“Snowmen are good they should not be arrested,” said Walsh. He was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct.

He says for the past 10 years he dressed up as Frosty the Snowman for the Chestertown Christmas parade. This year he did not think he would end up in handcuffs in the back of a police car.

“They kept me in the police car for ten minutes while the parade was marching by and everyone was looking at me.”

Walsh says he did nothing wrong.

Chief William Dwyer from the Chestertown police department says “Frosty” did do something wrong. He said Walsh was “agitated” when a dog-handling officer tried to escort him away from the crowd. Walsh allegedly took off the head portion of the “Frosty” costume and hit the officer in the face with it.

“He starting cursing and we asked him to remove the mask. He kicked one of our police dogs which led up to the altercation.”

Chief Dwyer says Walsh has a bad wrap sheet. Documents show Walsh is charged with three assaults and disorderly conduct. He is also banned from the Chestertown Town Hall.

“Anytime he gets a chance to agitate a police officer or anyone in town council he does so,” said Chief Dwyer.

Walsh is invited to next year’s Christmas parade. However, he is expected to have better behavior.
